Morning, all:

If you're feeling nervous/anxious/jittery, you are NOT alone. I think it's safe to say we're all a collective bundle of nerves right now.

Some (hopefully) helpful reminders for this AM:

1. Stay hydrated/eat if you can. When we're nervous, we forget to take care of ourselves!

Voters are advised to return their ballots early because of mail delay concerns
Election officials are raising concerns about the U.S. Postal Service's ability to handle this fall’s expected influx of election mail. But USPS say it’s ready to deliver the country’s ballots.

Something small but BIG you can do to help defeat Trump?

VOTE AS EARLY AS YOU CAN.

By voting early, you get your name off of the get-out-the-vote lists of D orgs, which means they can focus on folks who haven't voted.

And early voting helps defeat R plans to suppress the vote on Election Day!

I've volunteered for political campaigns for literally 40 years. And one thing that's always helped when things look bleak is the knowledge that there is ALWAYS something practical you can do to help make things better -- whether through electoral politics or other kinds of service.
