The increasing number of billionaires in every new release of the Epstein files are another reminder that billionaires shouldn't exist because they're immoral, exploitative hoarders and the world would be better if we abolished every one of them.

Once again, Republicans get to talk about blue states/urban areas like this, & Democrats get asked about why they don't respect Real Folkz in rural 🇺🇸/red states.

It's a disgusting double standard, & it should've stopped decades ago. The 2nd best time is now.

This is the CDC map for homicide rates by state for the most recent year on their website.

Gov. Landry, who leads one of the states in the nation with the highest murder rate, is on television chiding Minnesota, one of the states with the lowest murder rates.

It's never that they are wrong. It's that protestors are paid, or the judge is married to someone with an opposing viewpoint, or the polls are fixed.

For a party that wants everyone to "man up" and "be alphas," they are quite a group of little whiny bitch babies.
Harmeet Dhillon on Don Lemon: "We made a presentation to the magistrate judge. And the judge, who is married to someone who works for AG Ellison, who has had a lot to say about ICE, declined to give us all we were asking for. That's just part of the process... there are other ways to pursue charges"

Imagine the news cycle if any president slurred his words and rambled off lie after lie after lie, the way this one does.

The slurring alone, right? Add in all the obvious signs of declining health, the absolutely unhinged, manic, sundowning posts in the middle of the night?

But it's like 🤷‍♂️

WSJ explains here why Vladimir Putin has pushed Trump to make claims against Greenland for more than a decade, and has worked relentlessly to make it come to fruition—it's a torpedo to the bow of NATO, accomplishing what Putin has worked to achieve across his entire career.
In Trump’s Drive for Greenland, NATO Is the First Casualty
The threat of a new trade war with Europe is pushing the trans-Atlantic alliance into its deepest crisis since World War II.

It's incredibly demoralizing to constantly see the highest institutions of government and academia and the most important and widely seen news outlets knuckle under one after another, but then to see the gulf between that and the bravery of communities and neighbors and teachers - that's something

What's endlessly frustrating is that Trump has done nothing in the last year that he didn't openly campaign on doing if he regained the presidency, but checked-out voters didn't bother paying attention, and lots of politically informed voters refused to believe him. So much rotten ignorance.

I'm certain some people are getting tired of this refrain, but I'm going to keep repeating it to make the point: we shouldn't have to talk about measles in this country in 2025. This is a disease that had been officially put in elimination status for America over two decades ago. We were done with this, thanks in large part to a dedicated campaign of MMR vaccinations and a government that advocated for those same vaccinations.
