OPM is planning to fire all employees on probation (less than one year of employment). Agencies have until noon on Wednesday to submit a list of probationary employees to the OPM and indicate whether they wish to retain them—though it has been stated that this will not make a difference.

As Trump and Musk gut USAID today, I think back to my first day ever working for the US gov, showing up at the Reagan Building to start at USAID. Shame on them for demonizing Americans who are serving our nation, often in difficult and dangerous places. THREAD

Senator Andy Kim just went to the USAID building, talked to the security guard there to confirm employees are being barred entry, and then did a press gaggle right there in front to call it out.

This is doing something. This is making an effort on messaging. Other Democratic lawmakers: take notes.

Get this — the first Trump administration literally had a massive DEI program in place for the FAA, from 2017 through 2020

It was titled DIVERSITY TAKES FLIGHT

So if DEI caused the DC crash — then DONALD TRUMP caused the DC crash

DEI programs and people with disabilities did not cause the midair collision in DC. Trump gutting the FAA did that.

But the DEI program Trump is trying to blame was started in 2019 — by Trump.
