As a New Yorker I appreciate that local & state governments sticking up for programs, people & Americans whom others are attacking. From the NYC libraries making more books available on line to regional vaccine work to this support from AG James for youth seeking gender affirming care - thank you!
To all the young people in New York and across our country who count on gender-affirming care:

I won't let this administration come for you, your doctors, or your lifesaving health care.

Your health care is still legal and protected.

I'll always fight for you.

When the streets start telling the truth, it’s because the institutions won’t.

What’s become painfully obvious is that ICE agents aren’t trained to make us safer. They’re just recruits who thirst for power, violence, and cruelty.

I had fun reading to some Burke Elementary students at the Chicago Public Library today. When the Obama Presidential Center opens next year, we’ll have a new branch of the library for the community to enjoy.

This is all-hands on deck. RFK Jr. wants to destroy vaccination in the US. COVID and HBV vaccination were the first step. These diseases WILL come back. And your personal vaccination status is important, but so is the coverage in your community. So up your game and fight. www.vox.com/2015/3/25/82...

Federal immigration enforcement officials called off a planned raid on Canal Street today shortly before it was slated to begin.

New Yorkers who heard about the raid showed up at the garage where the feds had gathered, and as federal agents tried to leave, the NYPD cleared the way for them.

There is a shit ton of chaos in the world yet I must pause to celebrate a 30 day streak at both Wordle and Connections. (Surpassing my precious Connections streak of 23 yet far short of my Wordle record of 259.)
