Today, I am in pain anew. I can’t stand for more than 20 minutes without needing to rest. I’m exhausted. This has been my life since late September.
The goal is to stay out of sepsis between now and Monday 12/1 when I see my surgeon, as this wound cannot resolve on its own.

Have to admit, this bday turned out way better than expected. I held on to plans of spending the day with my writing and treating myself to dinner and a movie. I also got to hang out with a friend (virtually) and got some great news I'm not ready to share yet. Here's to hoping it's only just begun.
