Strange takes on Mayor Zamdani swearing his oath on the Qu’ran. It has nothing to do with church & state. The point of the oath is for the person swearing in to do so upon some text that is sacred TO THEM. Some Presidents swore in w/o any book. John Quincy Adams was sworn on a law book. His choice.

In 2 years, Curt Cignetti literally transformed an Indiana program that had the most losses in the sport to handing Alabama their worst bowl loss (at the Rose Bowl). Simply remarkable.

This is disgusting. Screaming and carrying their phones, running after them. They are BUDDHIST for fucks sake. Admire from afar. Get you stupid shit together Atlanta, you look stupid.
A group of about two dozen Buddhist monks is participating in a journey they're calling a "Walk for Peace," trekking from Fort Worth, Texas, to Washington, D.C. as a way to promote a message of peace.

On Dec. 29, they passed through a suburb of Atlanta and were greeted by a crowd of supporters.

Fuck the government. This applies to taxes, property tax, anything important.
As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

Holidays do not have much value for me these days. Will probably finish house cleaning tomorrow since I have to be back at work Friday. All my PTO time is used on medical appointments. What a completely shitty year it's been.
