We know that all illegally terminated Laboratory Leadership Service and Public Health Associate Program fellows have been REINSTATED!

Welcome back. We missed you!

Here’s a story that was shared with me:

It’s a good story about a probationary employee being terminated. The FWS continues to not respond to any of the requests for comment. 🙄

Our employees deserve better.

This is Orwellian censorship and a chilling warning to all researchers: fall in line or be silenced. Once the government dictates what science is allowed, science ceases to exist. This cannot stand. The scientific community—and anyone who values truth—must push back.

Without healthy oceans, we wouldn’t just be facing hardships, we’d be facing existential collapse. The loss of oxygen, food, climate stability, water cycles, and biodiversity would make the planet uninhabitable for humans within a few generations.

If the oceans die, we die.

This. Is. Extinction.

Tomorrow, February 28, let’s disrupt the status quo by spending ONLY at businesses that uplift our communities.

That means:
🚫 No gas from corporate giants
🚫 No fast food chains
🚫 No big-box retailers (Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.)

Lump in my throat watching this. I have taken this oath three times.

The USAID team - having been brutalized by their own government - still go out by renewing their allegiance to country and Constitution.

Has Elon taken this oath? I highly doubt it.

There goes the neighborhood.

NEPA basically just says you need to think about the environment before you do stuff, consider alternatives, and write it down. Ya know, the bare minimum of conscientiousness and good stewardship.

We get news of an apparent breakthrough in pancreatic cancer — usually a death sentence, one of the cancers with the worst outcomes — and Trump and Musk are blowing up NIH and with it future cancer cures.

The American people didn’t vote for this.
Not even close to 49.8% did.

It's ridiculous that we have to beg for basic needs to be kept in place. NOAA is essential for our safety.
NOAA is an absolute mess, and it’ll be worse tomorrow. Please help us. There have already been over 1,000 terminations. It’s not just layoffs—Elon Musk and his staffers are trying to completely dismantle us. Today, there were tons of firings, and more are coming tomorrow.

7) re-employed annuitant review
8) lease space (terminations)

ALL of these items are due to DOGE actions and the need to respond. Very “efficient.”
