We don’t have even the compromise of Roe anymore. SC is right now trying to kill women who have abortions. TPTB are coming after no fault divorce nationally. Etc.

But sure? Let’s tax those of us that don’t want or can’t have kids. It fits the “punish women” era that never seems to end.

What we don't talk about enough is the dignity harm suffered by women who have to share the public sphere with guys who go around talking about our bodies like we're a public resource whose use and distribution they're qualified to determine.

With the crash out happening in leadership around here I don’t know how much longer this place will remain remotely viable.

Targeted suspensions and perma bans for folks who offer criticism and ask for basic accountability is BAD, actually.

Human evolution is complex and fascinating. Anyone claiming to “solve” it based on a single recreated fossil should be side eyed.

If ppl could see how few in-tact ancient human fossils that have been recovered they’d probably be shocked. It’s an ever evolving puzzle.

PS I’ve been loving your revisit of this show - it’s been nice to consider certain aspects (like the Buffy boyfriend debates of old) without feeling entirely bogged down in the ick of JW.
