Argath aka Algus yells "Animals have no God!!" like a jerk. The original translation of Final Fantasy Tactics is notoriously rough, but I always liked how blunt this line was.

In Final Fantasy Tactics if a unit gains too much faith they leave your party to go find God. Have you ever wondered what would happen if you had Beast Tongue and got a monster unit to maximum faith? Of course you haven't. No one has.

It's interesting seeing the different ways resistance has formed in different cities. Los Angeles Organized, Chicago Radicalized, and Portland Got Weird as Fuck. All 3 have had success unifying their respective cities.

I guess my point is there are multiple paths to ungovernability.

i mean the last Hypnos scene for example. just this morning, it hit me that what i saw was the end of that storyline? that's... it?

playing this throughout EA conditioned me to expect more down the road. like, i keep finding myself thinking "okay a lot of these storylines went nowhere, but maybe the next update will turn it around?"

it's been a couple days and every time i think about this ending i keep finding new levels of annoyance at it

it's still an incredible game and a huge step up over the first in almost every aspect, but WOW the writers just dropped the fucking ball left and right in the last 5-10%

okay so i've rolled the hades 2 credits and did some stuff with the list of prophecies and then got a steam achievement for seeing the epilogue

so how many more runs do i have to do to unlock the real ending, instead of this joke one

I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.
