No sé si el fascismo es el nuevo punk, pero desde luego que es el nuevo indie. Cantantes completamente fuera del circuito comercial que sobreviven gracias a contratos con ayuntamientos para tocar en fiestas patronales. Lo mejor es que no necesitan ni público que justifique su contratación.

IMHO, this is the best way to frame this. Whether the shooting was or was not legally justified (and remember that the legal precedent tends to be incredibly cop friendly) is very different from whether the Trump administration is telling the truth about what happened. They are not. They are lying.

IMHO, this is the best way to frame this. Whether the shooting was or was not legally justified (and remember that the legal precedent tends to be incredibly cop friendly) is very different from whether the Trump administration is telling the truth about what happened. They are not. They are lying.

Wrote a piece for @slate.com explaining that states have a long history of prosecuting federal officers when they allegedly use excessive force. Federal officers are only immune from such prosecutions when they act reasonably in carrying out lawful duties.
