This story is another BIG problem for the Trump admin; in Abrego Garcia's criminal case in Tennessee, evidence shows the DOJ seriously mislead the judge about the extent to which Deputy AG Blanche and his office were involved in filing the case, bolstering the case for dismissal.
Judge Crenshaw wants to make public his 12/3 ruling discussing the key role Dep AG Todd Blanche’s office played in deciding to prosecute Abrego Garcia. But Crenshaw is apparently giving govt 'til 12/30 to appeal his rulings rejecting govt's atty-client & other privilege claims ...

Emil Bove’s notorious “Fuck you” to the federal courts made it into a judicial opinion for the first time. Boasberg, the first judge to get the admin’s “Fuck you” when it defied his orders to stop the AEA deportations, didn’t bother to redact the curse word:

Y'know, if a member of Washington's Cabinet had said this to one of the signers of the Constitution, the response would be "cash me outside, how bout dat?"

This is borderline childish. The law was clear that the files needed to be released and searchable. ⚖️🤨
So its looking like the DOJ parked an extra volume of files (totaling over 11k files) but they just didn't index it and didn't provide a link to it. So it would not show up when you looked at the site. But if you simply bumped the number up in the browser you get access to them.

Maria has been accused over the years of fabricating her story that she had gone to the FBI. After finding the document in the trove, I called her. She broke down in tears.

It’s become impossible to ignore that Trump is hiding evidence he committed crimes with Epstein.

A journalist needs to ask Trump directly if he’s ever had sex with someone he met through Epstein, and if he’s ever slept with someone who might be under-age.

The key now is that this kind of thing needs to break through into right wing media.

Ok. Now had a chance to check and, well, at least some docs do appear to be straight up classic redaction fail. And there are some *interesting* bits here.

Restrictions on the release on the release of Volume II of Jack Smith's report concerning Trump's Espionage Act prosecution will EXPIRE on Feb. 24, 2026.

BUT Judge Cannon will let Trump DOJ try to delay it further and DENIES a First Amendment group's bid to intervene.
