Whenever a Russian general is taken out by a car bomb I can't help but wonder if, rather than being the handiwork of Ukrainian operatives in Moscow, it isn't in fact Putin pulling a Darth Vader on some under-performing subordinate that has failed him "...for the last time."

So the CBS editor-in-chief killed a 60 Minutes story on CECOT ostensibly because it did not offer "both sides" commentary from the Tr*mp administration. But the administration wouldn't respond to requests for comment. Ergo the admin can now veto unfavorable stories simply by refusing to participate.
