Values bringing the facts as always.

These numbers ought to scare the heck out of GOP members - and what’s much better than that ought to give all of us who oppose Trump much hope!
Republicans are going to win #TN07 by about 9 points. Which is 12 points less than the margin by which they won the district the last two House elections.

Like I mentioned, there are 117 Republicans who represent districts they'd lose if their races swung 12 points left.

Here's where they are:

A 17-point swing there turns into about 250 seats.

It increasingly feels like anyone with an (R) next to their name doesn't remember anything beyond 10 years ago. Morons.

The president is a political cartoon of corruption come to life, a gaudy grifter who is selling off pardons and lining his pockets, building a golden ballroom and protecting his fellow sex predator elites, all the while regular Americans are suffering and struggling to make ends meet.

Note two things about GOP Rep. Mike Turner's solid remarks on Hegseth's reported order:

1) Turner: "I agree that that would be an illegal act."

2) Implicitly confirms the Washington Post's reporting that this information has been kept from Congress
Rep. Mike Turner on the double strike to comply with Hegseth's orders: "If that occurred, that would be very serious and I agree that would be an illegal act…This is completely outside of anything that has been discussed with Congress and there is an ongoing investigation."

Alan Dershowitz is one of those claiming Epstein was not a pedophile because he pleaded guilty to one count of having sex for money with a 17-year-and-10-month-old person. "That’s not a pedophile." See this important response from Julia Brown, the brave reporter who broke the news on this

Everyone (esp media) pay attention. In 2021 almost every Republican attacked the Biden administration and State dept for being too slow in approving Afghanistan special visas as Afghanistan fell.

Now they are attacking Biden for doing what they asked him to do.

So true...I see this is people in my regular day
I think what breaks a lot of these guys is not having actual friends anymore. People who spend time with you because they like you, not because they hope you’ll make their dreams come true. Their only “peers” are their rivals, who they can be chummy with but desperately need to one-up.

This is do-able and would fix a LOT of problems. Far more realistic than trying to cover the Constitution in wite-out
Easiest fix: expand the House. Then the # of electoral votes for each state would be more in proportion with their population.

On the one hand, I admire what MTG is doing.

On the other hand, only monsters put up a Christmas tree before Thanksgiving.
Marge Greene announces she is resigning from Congress, that she doesn’t want to go through a brutal primary against a Trump backed opponent, and says Trump has treated her like a battered wife and has been hateful to her and is trying to destroy her.

The Senate is as much a symbol of federalism as the presidency. Why protect one but change the other? (Spoiler: because liberals at this point in history know that it would work in their favor, but don't think about how any of that could backfire)
There might be some daylight between “one person, one vote” and “OMFG ABOLISH THE SENATE” but what do I know

If you’re gonna do anything with the tariff money, stop bailing out Argentina and passing out checks so Trump can pretend he’s personally writing these checks.
