Usually caffeinated.
If our government remains on this platform, I can only conclude they are not overly bothered by content such as this.
Just seen Grok putting the body of the victim of the ICE shooting in Minneapolis into a bikini. Digital corpse desecration now available to the public.

I call on my party and my government to remove themselves entirely from X and communicate with the public where they actually participate online and can be protected from such illegality.

The US government is now freely killing people at sea, in other lands, and on its own streets.

It is difficult to see what more is needed for Congress and the Supreme Court to exercise their constitutional duty to check and balance what is now a rogue state abroad and a gangster state at home.

It's like banned people being arrested for domestic terrorism, then tripping up, falling down stairs, and out the window. We've seen this playbook many times before.
And characterising non-violent dissent as “domestic terrorism” is an unambiguous statement of readiness to silence political opposition with lethal force.
Like those before it, that insane, vile DHS statement about the Minneapolis shooting isn't about covering anything up. It's performative lying.

They aren't trying to persuade anyone that their agents did nothing wrong. They're trying to project that their agents can get away with anything.

Telling isn't it that all the "protect our girls" people are still on X despite what Grok is doing.

They really don't get this guy. He's going to keep going, no matter what BS they stick on his file. Precisely because service to his country runs through his veins.
Four generations of my family have served our country. Service is in my blood. The President wouldn’t know anything about that.

Right on cue.
Nigel Farage expresses support for Trump's "unorthodox" breach of international law - on grounds that they may "make China and Russia think twice"

But the main impact on Russia and China will be to help them to legitimise aggression in cases like Ukraine and Taiwan, citing Trump/US as analogous.

From a domestic politics perspective, I now expect all our parties to demolish anyone supporting this absolutely disgusting state of affairs. This should end Reform overnight. Stop pandering to them, end of. This horrible right wing bile needs finishing. It's far too dangerous.

This is going to test my memory, but the last time we had anything similar would indicate we're going to get some pretty explosive details this time. And I'm sure those concerned will be acutely aware of their responsibility in this mess and not happy to entirely carry the can.
If/when the Dems can start up investigations again we're going to get some extraordinary testimony from the military.

A gangster state at home, a rogue state abroad: and entirely because Congress and the Supreme Court have abdicated their proper constitutional roles.

A defining moment for Europe. If it endorses/fails to condemn this flagrant breach of international law, it will have surrendered its core justification for opposing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine
JUST IN: Trump says the U.S. has captured Maduro and his wife and flown them out of the country.

And they assumed nobody would notice if this just drifted out on New Year's day?
This Times “speculation” had better be wrong—It would actively cause harm to children—there isn’t the expertise or infrastructure needed for this cruel plan. If it’s accurate, we will campaign against it vigorously. Which parent or school would back it? archive.is/KFcWB

Paddington the musical is absolutely magical. And I was one of the ten (probably older) people who laughed very loudly at Bonnie Langford making a Cats joke.

Good grief. What a pathetic baby.
Per @garretthaake.bsky.social, the extremely tacky "presidential wall of fame" that lines the colonnade to the West Wing now has obviously-Trump-penned plaques insulting or praising the presidents.

The quote tweets and replies about how Trump is untouchable are the kind of things people said about Honecker and Ceaușescu in 1988....
Starting to think that the President going completely mad might force his party to act next year.

He's always said crazy things but he's moved to another, and more politically dangerous, level recently.

Can't even remember half that stuff. Anyways, World Cup will be fun for a lot of people.
This is the full list of info the US is proposing to require from applicants for an ESTA (electronic travel authorisation) to secure visa-free travel to America. This would apply to every UK holidaymaker, conference attendee or businessperson. public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2025-22461.pdf

I don't really speak about details because it's his story to tell, but my son's ADHD is life threatening. He has nearly died 3 times in his almost 7 years of life. The NHS has supported us wonderfully, but I live each day hoping I get to a 100 because I'm worried what happens when I'm gone.

That bastion of lefty twaddle - Dulwich College.
Well done Emma Barnett on #r4today exposing the blatant antisemitism of Richard Tice, MP (and deputy leader of Reform) - he called the Jewish man abused at school by Nigel Farage with the foulest of antisemitic language a liar and said it was “lefty twaddle”…

A new low for Farage, Tice, and Reform…
