Major reader, love playing visual novel games, and general #MaximumFun and #DropoutTV fan. Big on #LibraryLife, #RunningLife, and #SoftballSeason. Neurodivergent, ace, she/her/hers.
Got a new DVD/VHS player from my mom literally last week (read: she had it in the box new for years and let me have it when my DVD player broke), and it is somehow frozen on the home screen of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and won't eject even after I turned it off and back on- am I cursed??

Still have one more work day next week before the winter break (and though I'm grateful it's not three like it was before 1pm today, the reason is... not something to celebrate), and that's still too many given the hell we've been put through this past month in particular x.x

Not a bad run given it's been a few weeks! It may be time for a new watch since it always dies right at a mile- I know I hit at least 1.04 miles since it reset to 0.96 when I got it back on the first time, and I hit a mile again before it died once more xD #RunningLife

Movie you've watched more than six times with a gif. Easy mode: no Stars (either War or Trek), LOTR, or Marvel.

Didn't expect to feel up to a run today, but suddenly felt motivated at the end of the day so I got out there! I did hit a mile before my watch died, but I guess the last save point was a little before that happened. As tiring as I expected, but glad I did it before tomorrow's weather! #RunningLife

You just died. The 6th picture in your phone gallery is what killed you.

... this feels like a huge escalation even for my workplace for the gate count to kill me 😳

Been a minute since I got a run in, and thought this was gonna be pretty bad due to general exhaustion, but even when my watch died, I felt compelled to keep going a little. Didn't feel great, but didn't feel terrible either, so I'll take this small needed win? #RunningLife

It's been wild to not have any context for all the weird shit I've seen on my timeline that is presumably from certain files the past few days because I've been so absorbed in the nightmare that is my workplace right now... do I even want to know??

The U.S. government is now inarguably spreading medical disinformation that is going to kill babies preferentially.

Period.

This is an INTOLERABLE. UNPRECEDENTED. DANGEROUS. ATTACK. ON ALL OF US.

Just came back here to share a more detailed obituary written by her friend for the @thesicktimes.org.

It includes her activism in support of 🇵🇸, and her advocacy and support for people with Long Covid.

A nice obituary for Alice, who was going to be recognized as one of The Post 50.

I hate that we now have to live without this phenomenal woman.

Alice is the gold standard of what Twitter was when it was great - how you could just find these brilliant, remarkable people with the kind of voices that rarely get platformed or taken seriously, and hear about their lives in their own words without intruding on them or demanding emotional labor
Watching disabled people around the world mourn Alice is a reminder of the good aspect of the internet. 30 years ago, few people outside of SF would ever have known Alice existed. I never would have met her. The internet connected us all. Let’s honor Alice’s memory by using that power and community.
My social media is wall-to-wall love for the incomparable Alice Wong, and I need more words. What captures sadness and/also affection for a community that knows what's been lost?

Knew this would be a short run, but still pleased I hit more than a mile, and at a very consistent pace! Running app tried to tell me I wouldn't need a hat for this one, but I'm glad I threw one in my pocket anyway cause it's chilly out! #RunningLife

Back to #WFH day runs while I'm in between shows (well, we've got one more weekend in this one), and it went as okay as I expected 😆 Only hit a little more than a mile after a week off, post-nasal drip coughing, and my watch shutting down, but I'm still glad to have gotten out! #RunningLife
