Should is doing a lot of work here
Labour's argument that it cannot get its workers rights bill provisions regarding day 1 rights through the House of Lords doesn't add up. It's explicitly mentioned in its 2024 manifesto so the Lords should be bound by the Salisbury Convention.

(FWIW, I think the new curriculum review does a really good job at not damaging a system that is working while making sensible recommendations for additions)

As opposed to MAT bosses with big egos who are accountable to no one?
To me, schools need another layer of elected individuals with big egos using them as electoral puppets like they need a hole in the head.
