Wow. I‘m not sure which part of this is weirder: that they think Starmer’s rep might be worse than theirs, or that they might be right.

Palantir has pulled out of involvement with the UK Digital ID card, according to an interview with their UK CEO on Times Radio. They’re concerned about the reputational damage of being involved with an unpopular Starmer policy.

I think about Melville's The Confidence Man a lot these days. It feels like the scam is more and more the model of American political and economic life.

The QAA podcast did an excellent deep dive about the 'medbed' conspiracy theory a year ago.

With this ringing endorsement, if you'd like to understand what deeply evil nonsense the literal President of the United States is promoting now please do listen! on.soundcloud.com/0SJT1Mcqx8ks...

The post has deleted, but it's wild to see Tump posting an AI slop scam video featuring fake AI footage of himself promising magical 'medbeds', and presumably making these scammers fabulously rich in the process.

Trump tonight appears to have pushed the false "medbed" conspiracy theory, which has spread in the far-right internet over the years. www.yahoo.com/news/qanon-c...

ok so you can migrate to the UK but you have to become an indentured servant to a guy who looks like a canned ham

MIGRANTS will have to carry out community work or volunteering to qualify to permanently remain in the UK, according to the Home Secretary.

Shabana Mahmood has indicated that she is looking to toughen up the rules around claiming indefinite leave to remain (ILR) in Britain.

this actually reveals the gameplan with Grok a little bit

anything that affects Conservatives is immediately dismissed as fake or a meme or edited, no matter what that event actually is

Grok says that videos of Charlie Kirk being shot are memes and that he's actually fine

There will be an all-out media & financial assault on Mamdani if he takes office. When Salvador Allende was president of Chile, Nixon said the US had to "make the economy scream." Something similar will happen to NY in a collaboration between Trump & Dems. bsky.app/profile/schw...

I don't think people understand how ferocious the opposition to Mamdani will be if he's mayor. Republican & Democratic power brokers will unite to crush him & punish NYers for voting for him. They cannot allow someone with his positions to be a success & inspiration.

MIT’s NANDA initiative found that 95% of generative AI deployments fail after interviewing 150 execs, surveying 350 workers, and analyzing 300 projects. The real “productivity gains” seem to come from layoffs and squeezing more work from fewer people not AI.
MIT report: 95% of generative AI pilots at companies are failing
There’s a stark difference in success rates between companies that purchase AI tools from vendors and those that build them internally.
