Yes. While there are absolutely things Democrats can and must do to slow, obstruct, etc, GOP hold both House and Senate majorities, severely limiting our options.

They knew they were getting arrested just for being LGBTQ+.
Yet... they're still here, standing outside of the boarded up Stonewall Inn, smiling as the world was at a fever pitch of hatred against them.

it also seems to me that there are actual categories of argument that on their face fail the test of "acting with integrity." if i had a colleague who wanted to argue for the genetic inferiority of black people, i think i should be able to dismiss that without consideration.

I was checking out and the cashier greeted me with "Hola". I responded with my usual "Howdy!" She gave me this look and said "Wow. Really?" I was so embarrassed that I just proceeded with the conversation in Spanish. I am not immune to sassy women.
