AOC: What we saw today was a criminal murder a woman while she was trying to flee for her life. What we saw today was a manifestation of every American’s worst nightmare: their government turning into a tyranny.

The same people who spent yesterday, and the past five years, insisting a Black police officer who shot an insurrectionist breaking into the Capitol should be prosecuted are today bending over backwards to defend an ICE agent who shot a woman in her car in cold blood.

Scum.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

I know quite a few comrades on the ACA exchange. I used to be on the exchange for years. A doubling or tripling of premium costs will be a death sentence for people who NEED HEALTH INSURANCE to survive. PERIOD.

We've heard Democrats say as much for WEEKS. So what the hell??????

THREAD: This was an all-white jury in rural Louisiana and a judge appointed by Trump. But when ordinary people hear about the everyday brutality pervasive inside our jails, they are outraged. But something deeper is going on here:

Inventing Antifa
In 2005, the Uzbek government invented a group called “Akromiya” to justify massacring protesters. Now I worry the US government will do the same.

Anti-trans hate group Genspect is formally calling for trans people to be repathologized. This is most certainly to set the stage for mandated conversion therapy and potentially forced institutionalization.

Trans rights are not the rights of a tiny minority, trans rights are everyone’s rights to self-determination, control of our bodies, and a society where opportunity and aesthetics are not restricted by sex assigned at birth

You should support and defend trans people because trans people are people

Every major talent that works for ABC and Disney should refuse to show up for work until Jimmy Kimmel is reinstated.

Marvel movies need to shutdown. Ditto the sitcoms.

Collective boycott.

Corporations love money more than anything,& this will harm them and force them to do the right thing.

And, again, I know folks in "blue states" who are like "the Dems gave voters all the messaging; folks knew what they were voting for."

I'm not in a "blue state". I'm in a "red state". And Dems don't even try to push back on the Christofash astroturfing here.

Which has been a mistake.
You all really, badly, quickly, need to familiarize yourselves with the Republicans’ media infrastructure. No joke.

This, none of this surprises me. They have built a media ecosystem that is impenetrable and actively uses Dem messaging to push people down the alt-right pipeline.
Is it because media is perceived to be so polarized and biased that no one believes anything anymore?

Putting aside how hate against one’s own child and their requests didn’t seem to factor in at all…

Wow. So he votes to gut Medicaid and throw 17 million people off of their healthcare and then dumps his Medicaid related stock to cover his own ass?

That’s just evil and cruel.
Republican Congressman Bresnahan recently sold his stock in Centene, a Medicaid health care provider. The stock has now fallen 43% since his sale.

His sale seemingly coincides with his vote to advance Trump's budget bill that will kick 17 million Americans off their health care.

In 2020, the Chicago Abortion Fund spent $300,000 helping people get abortions. By 2024, that number was $5 million.

This is both a fact and a roundabout way of once again thanking everyone I know who donated to the Our Justice fundraiser this year.
People are flocking out-of-state for abortion care. Clinics are fighting to keep up.
Abortion clinics in protective states like Illinois are extending their hours to support demand. It takes a toll on staff and funding networks.
