I saw someone writing about their child learning about symbolism at school a few weeks ago.

She was laughing and saying in the statement ‘the red door’ there is not always a symbolic reasoning for the door being red.

My opinion is that all writing is entirely imbued with symbolism and meaning.
But novels are never about what they are about; that is, there is always deeper, or more general, significance. The author may not be aware of this till she is pretty far along with it.

I spend every morning with tea
Chai just means tea
A rebrand for the fam
Me and you and you and me
Tears and apostrophes

Have some nice trees.

Take a moment. Refocus on your goals. Believe in a better world.

You got this.

Great idea!
I keep a folder of kind words, good reviews, and encouragement for the days I'm struggling. Today was one of the days I needed it.

Contractions, to use or not to use?

How, and when, and for what, do you think?

Is the recent fashion for using them in all writing useful?

Thoughts from writers, authors copywriters, teachers and everyone very welcome!

Did you know that some people don’t get goosebumps?

Do you?

I rarely get them but just found out I can give myself them on command!

Will you laugh?

When the subordinate conjunction.

Comes without its independent clause?
No, nor will I.

While we will never know, who laughed last.

Someone had that last laugh.
