Just a reminder that ICE didn't exist until 2002. It's not some longstanding institution that must be maintained. It was created as a knee-jerk reaction to 9/11, and it could be gotten rid of as easily as it was created.

Someone asked me a good question on here. How do we stop ICE from violating our constitutional rights. We don't. Our local elected officials do that job. Our Governor, or Sheriffs our mayors, Police. They stop ICE. With force if necessary. That's how you stop ICE from pulling us out of our homes.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. Its really only getting past the first few generations, really. The young ones now get it, quite naturally, unless they have to untangle what their conservative parents have taught them.
