‼️‼️ I am writing this under the sound of explosions

Odesa is without electricity, water, gas, and communication after one of Russia’s most intense attacks of the war.

More than ten explosions have been reported, involving ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, Oniks missiles, and Kinzhal missiles.

Since 1917, the United States has been a good ally of European democracies. Also since 1917, communist and then fascist Russia has been a fierce enemy of the USA.

The traitor Trump sides with the enemy, betrays allies, and destroys American power built over the last 108 years.

It's only through the equally blurry social construction of race that any of these civilizational boundaries make sense. And because the dominant social construction of race emerged in Europe and the US to justify colonialism, those racial hierarchies are embedded in our notions of civilization.

Calling BS on MAGA
FBI operations director Michael Glasheen says antifa is the government’s “primary concern” as “the most immediate violent threat” domestically. Bennie Thompson asks where antifa exists in the US and how many members it has.

“Well that’s very fluid.”

A remarkable exchange. Full:

Europe has everything in terms of resources, skills etc. What we lack is leadership and resolve
In his interview with us this week, Donald Trump denounced leaders in Europe as “weak,” provoking retorts from politicians across the EU.

But ... Europeans broadly share the U.S. president's view, our first POLITICO Poll has found.

💔 A European Parliament interpreter could not hold back tears during the speech of 11-year-old Roman Oleksiv from Lviv.

The boy survived a missile strike on Vinnytsia on July 14, 2022, which killed his mother - it was the last time he saw her alive.

Further, why doesn't ANYBODY talk about Russia holding a free and fair election? It's like the whole world is picking on Ukraine for all kinds of small and even made up issues while totally ignoring Russia's enormous and obvious shortcomings.

Maybe there's a lesson to take from all this...

Something has changed. A side of America that most Europeans never encountered face to face is now in charge. Europe had a decade of warnings and the first Trump Administration to prepare for this. We chose not to.
To meet this moment and secure our future, we must also change.
