Mid-century vintage. Retired lay about. Gardening, nature, archaeology, politics, books, music. Alto, usual suspect back row. Co-owner of a little red boat.
Since all the media coverage of the recent carnyx discovery at Thetford, I have been obsessively googling videos of them being played . This one is hugely impressive ! youtube.com/watch?v=auR-...

My wife Bunty & I had the privilege of visiting Nigel Farage in his campaign office during the last election.
He was so lovely & allowed Bunters to take a photo of him (shown below).
There was absolutely no hint of him exceeding electoral expenses & being involved in fraud.

The incredible ‘Orkney Hood’ from Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

So well preserved it looks like it was woven yesterday rather than some 1,500 years ago!

It’s thought the hood was made for a child. Found in 1867 in a peat bog in St Andrews Parish, Orkney.

This is what many of us have been saying. Part 3 of the Planning & Infrastructure Bill is based on a myth: that we don't have enough homes because wildlife and green spaces are protected. It will solve nothing, and inflict terrible harm on our remaining ecosystems
