There are a lot of valid complaints about making the subway less confusing to infrequent or first-time riders, but you have to actually attempt to ride it to make those complaints. The person in question seemingly gave up because New York simply has an abundance of transit!
A lot of people are hating on this but I think it's a pretty eye-opening account of what it's like for non-NYC-savvy travelers (aka most of the country) to experience the city

I travel 100 days a year, but I'd never been to New York City until now. There were literal highs but disappointing lows.
I spend a third of my year traveling, but I somehow didn't make it to New York City until this winter. My first trip to the Big Apple was interesting.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Harebrained Open House! I think my heart might have grown three sizes due to all the love and support that came through our doors this past weekend! It was a blast to host and we certainly plan on doing it again (and better) in 2025!

This building is well lit! (Notice lower than 3000 kelvin color.) The storefront is well lit. And, the peek-a-boo view to courtyard makes you want to cross the street and check it out. It also creates evening framing for street space and lighting for pads and cyclists.
