A married couple was shot in Portland by federal agents. Early reports indicate the agents involved were US Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The individuals were taken to the hospital. The reason shots were fired has not been publicly explained. More details to come as information is confirmed.

I don't understand how people who voted for a convicted felon can shout, "That's the law!" in regards to the ICE officer shooting Renee Good. They obviously don't know the law, and feel it can be stomped upon and changed to their liking. Apparently, right is wrong and wrong is right.

Birthright citizenship exists because the 1857 Dred Scott decision denied the Declaration. Undoing it now would repeat the very sin the 14th Amendment was built to crush.
i think to understand the meaning of the birthright citizenship clause to the framers of the 14th amendment, you have to understand significance of dred scott to the civil war republican party. dred scott wasn't just a bad ruling, it was understood as a rejection of the declaration itself.
