and many democrats have done the same for defending a Palestinian’s right to stay alive.
The real trap here is that the Republicans have made defending civil rights seem like a frivolous thing and a whole lot of liberals are falling in line. Even if it was a culture war, so what? This would be a war worth fighting. What are we even doing here, people? Get it together.

This is not Hiroshima, this is Gaza.

Gaza is nearly 3 times smaller than Hiroshima, and Israel has dropped the equivalent of 6 ATOMIC BOMBS on Gaza.

Don't stop talking about Gaza as if your life depends on it, because their lives depend on it! #GazaGenocide

I'm loving your Iliad live-comments, and I love the idea of choices having a smell. Maybe you're actually Aeschylus, back from the dead with the complete "Myrmidons" -- a lost tragedy featuring "the holy honor of the thigh-bond", "intimacy of thighs" and "countless kisses".

Opinion | A Trump dictatorship is increasingly inevitable. We should stop pretending.
There is a clear path to dictatorship in the United States, and it is getting shorter every day. So why is everyone behaving like normal?

That deciding to buy banned books for your own personal shelves doesn't even come close to solving the harms done by book banning, and actually we'd rather you show up and speak out at your school board and library board meetings and also help elect better candidates - or run for office yourself.
