I wasn’t the only credible writer who got that treatment. There were reasons for that.

Legalizing Cocaine Is the Only Way to End the Drug War
The war on drugs has failed, and Trump’s deadly boat strikes are only doubling down on decades of failed policy.

You know who else was indicted out of the Southern District of New York following an investigation that was primarily conducted during the first Trump administration (and then convicted by a federal jury and sentenced to 45 years in prison)?

The biggest hypocrite of the Lane Kiffin saga is not Lane himself. It's Jeff Landry, who pretended he was going to take on the buyout industrial complex and then did the opposite. Maybe, one day, an SEC or Big Ten governor will have the courage of their convictions on this slate.com/culture/2025...

Stands to reason that the human polls (and now, the committee) would be more swayed by tradition and narrative. Computers don’t care about your reputation!
The computers being slightly more friendly to the non-power schools is an odd realization.

They had no conflicts of interest. They had no takes. They weren’t athletic directors with a million other job responsibilities. They just wanted to give us football numbers and we hated them for it
