Are we clear that this physically and cognitively declining 79-year-old man, who’s devoted his life to crime and amassing wealth any way he can, is excited about exploiting our military for his personal pleasure? If he can steal Venezuela’s oil, it only empowers him to keep going.

this is small comfort given he has state power and i don’t but i am struck by what an obviously weak and fragile man miller is. a blubbering piss baby whose entire affect and personality is an attempt to make up for his profound feelings of inadequacy
MILLER: The US is using its military to secure our interests unapologetically in our hemisphere. We're a superpower. It's absurd we'd allow a nation in our backyard to become a supplier of resources to our adversaries

TAPPER: Sovereign countries shouldn't be able to do what they want?

"If you don't call me cool and give me my lil award I'll kill as many people as possible out of spite" really does appear to be the driving animus of everyone in this administration and its adjacent oligarchy.
WH sources say Venezuela's opposition leader committed the "ultimate sin": She accepted the Nobel Peace prize.

“If she had turned it down and said, ‘I can’t accept it because it’s Donald Trump’s,’ she’d be the president of Venezuela today,” one said.

Next time you look at your greatly increased monthly bill for healthcare, remember that Republicans chose to use the money set aside for supplements to defray your costs to, instead, invade Venezuela to make ExxonMobil even richer.

Thank them with your votes.

Trump & his billionaire oil company pals want Venezuela’s oil. Hoping our branches of government finally go spine shopping and do what is right-for America, our allies and the world’s people- impeach this evil guy.

If your position is that regime change should be forced on countries where the president does not respect democratic norms and regularly kidnaps opponents using an officially sanctioned paramiliatary, have I got news for you about your position on the United States

If Nicolás Maduro stands trial in the United States and gets convicted of 34 felonies, does that mean he’s qualified to be our next president now?

Just checking what the standards are these days.

“Out of touch” isn’t it.

A president who gilds the Oval Office in gold, slaps his own name on a cultural institution, tears down the East Wing for his own vanity project, and then tells us the affordability crisis is all in our heads.

It’s not out of touch; it’s contempt for the people he governs.

So, if the redacted pictures in the Epstein files are to protect the victims, and ALL of the trump pictures are redacted, does that mean all of the trump pictures have victims in them?

WHY ARE ALL THE TRUMP PICTURES REDACTED?

A story I found about Haiti:

In 1999, a group of Haitians were tired of political disorder and dreamed of a better life in the United States. So they built a small, 23-foot boat by hand using pine trees, scrap wood, and used nails. They called the boat "Believe in God."
