We need to be very careful about using the word "peace" today or to talk about "ending the war". What we will see most likely is Putin and Trump agreeing to a deal that might bring a temporary ceasefire, before Putin rearms and tries again to take over Ukraine. It wont be peace.

If you’re not familiar with the term: Gleichschaltung means ‘bringing into line’ and was the process by which the Nazi regime established a system of totalitarian control and coordination over all aspects of German society, incl education and culture. US universities are another key target atm. /end

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.
