You beat it by knowing that they are not real. Polygraphs are fake science more like a ouija or a magic amulet than a real test. They only "work" by tricking people into thinking they do so you confess.

Feel free to attribute the following to a former OMB General Counsel: The supposed "new legal analysis" is, to use a technical legal term, horseshit. What the law actually says is that when Congress enacts a law ending a lapse, furloughed employees get paid at the earliest date possible. Period.

Cost per unit go up dramatically when you get above 3-5 stories. You need more concrete, stronger walls, more safety features, etc... If you build a 14 story apartment here literally no one will pay the actual cost of the units so you just reinvented a affordable housing project. 3/
