In a lull between frames in The Billiards, my dear mother decided to turn the telly over to the BBC News Channel, around 30 seconds before they dumped a whopping great spoiler of the Grand Prix result. The moral of this story is that Stephen Hendry isn't all that bad.

Bluesky, i need your opinion. There's a comedian whose live set i listened to a couple of years ago and thought their material was hateful, lazy, derivative and divisive. They have a thing recently broadcast on radio. Do i give them a second chance?

Turns out a diet of "IT'S THEIR FAULT" and "WHY ARE YOU STANDING FOR THIS" can eventually turn the trained killer who has spent his life taking orders in to a freelance killer.

Once again for the hard of thinking: streaming shouldn't count towards the chart unless you've specifically chosen to stream the song in question. If it turns up randomly on someone else's plalylist or by Alexa's whim, you haven't chosen to listen to it so it shouldn't count.
Interesting development in the race for this year's UK Christmas no. 1, which counts streaming. Unfair advantage? Sharp practice? (Mentioned in this article on UK charity single for Palestine: www.theguardian.com/music/2025/n...)
