Being able to get 4.4L/100km (53 US MPG) on a Diesel hatchback is pretty funny to expose to people in North America :)

It's impressive how such an old episode of Red Dwarf touches such a current tech as AI, and some of its details, but also looks like a sketch of Spanish show Camera Café

How detached from life and society one person could be to make an AI send spam to important computer science persons just to waste people's time and waste computing energy.

Man, if you're that bored, go watch a movie, play the guitar, or have a walk idk
Fuck you people. Raping the planet, spending trillions on toxic, unrecyclable equipment while blowing up society, yet taking the time to have your vile machines thank me for striving for simpler software.

Just fuck you. Fuck you all.

I can't remember the last time I was this angry.

If a problem is improved by sleeping, it's probably a race condition.

If it's a race condition, then sleeping is never a correct solution to the problem... you're just making it less likely to happen, not fixing it...

I knew the newer BMW B series engines are a lot more reliable than their previous ones, but this maybe back this sentiment/analysis.

Also, Mazda is a famously reliable-ish, brand, but I didn't expect that much. Props to them!
please take a moment to appreciate Tesla's epic accomplishment of coming dead last in the auto industry in reliability, despite making relatively expensive cars with a tiny fraction of the moving parts

Why doesn't the US gov. use the CIA or Palantir for that? Those requirements are admitting they aren't doing their work correctly.

It's incredibly sad how many resources (money, energy, people time) were wasted to make "nothing", and how much we could have improved people's lives by just investing those resources in different types of infrastructure.
This a bit more than the cost of the whole Spanish high speed rail network. All 2,500 miles of it.

What we got instead were shitty avatars and VR glasses.
