I don't think it's fully appreciated just how much Trumpism is a celebration of ignorance. Trump not only never learns but proactively avoids it. It's a braindead movement from the top down.

I think the single most painful part of writing is the final-final read-through.
I'm sick of the paper, every sentence annoys me, everything feels inelegant, I want to rewrite the whole thing, but I also never want to touch again. And I'm sure the editors and referees will hate it.
