Alder Fuentes is a former dean of restorative practices. She’s visited my students a number of times to talk about neighborhood issues. She’s always looking for root causes, always looking to deescalate crisis situations. The contrast between her and these agents couldn’t be more striking.

This is the first Taylor album I’ve listened to immediately upon release (I’m home sick). I’m surprised by how catchy it is! I’ve added half the album to my regular-listening playlist.

People use "anti-Zionism" to mean everything from "Every Jew needs to go back to Poland" to "One binational state with protections for both communities," which is why I don't find blanket statements of either "Anti-Zionism is antisemitism" or "anti-Zionism is not antisemitism" particularly helpful.

Sherbrook and Westminster is one of the busiest cycling intersections in Winnipeg. I pass through it everyday and it’s never made sense to me why the next intersection (at Maryland) DOES have a leading signal for cyclists and pedestrians but Sherbrook does not. #BikeWpg
