It just struck me that as there are an enormous number of illegal arrests going on nowadays, it's in the best interest of nearly everyone being arrested to demand a trial by jury.
It's also vital that people sympathetic to their cause report for jury duty when called to do so.

I'm a Padres fan living here in Los Angeles, and I have to grudgingly admit that the one thing that I respect about Dodgers fans is how they absolutely do not give a shit what the rest of the country (and Canada) thinks about them.
It is a moral failing to root for the Dodgers if you are not from Los Angeles, almost as severe as the moral failing of being from Los Angeles.
