Mass Effect is IMO an interesting case study in the fear of stagnation leading to stagnation. The widespread belief that Shepard’s story is done and it would be derivative to ever bring her back places the series in stasis, because it means it can never explore the aftermath of the trilogy

Picked up "Mineko's Night Market" second hand and it's an absolute treasure. So cute, so relaxing and so cozy. I can't tell if the lagging during loading screens is a problem with my cartridge or just the game but I'd still totally recommend it.

it's kinda sad that digital work is so hidden
like there's no messy study room or bookshelves full of works you've read or letters from people and gizmos and widgets you've built or stacks of drawings and diagrams
