One from a batch I bought recently from Fuzz Club. All of the new to my ears - this one of two that I get by The Men. Punk rock New York style - it's a good record. I am listening to the next one now - wouldn't have minded seeing these live in a club.

Between 2012-2020 the Government sold off student loan debt to Private Companies, the interest rates are now usually double inflation or more.

Also the level and amount you repay goes up and up and up as thresholds will be frozen forever.

This can’t go on. UK news shows have got to start calling Nigel Farage out on this ridiculous bull****. Please start doing your job - for all our sakes
If UK news shows are going to give Nigel Farage a platform to spout this absolute boll**** about Brexit & the vaccine rollout (unchallenged) I’ll happily come back every week to correct it.

We cannot allow him & others to rewrite history.

Universal Credit per child is £292.81 per month.

Meaning with JUST 35 children (all have to be under 18), you could get £140,000 a year.

Must be loads of families doing this...
The benefit cap is £22,020 for a couple and just £14,753 for a single person.

After another week of banging on about immigration, Keir Starmer's ratings fall to their lowest ever level.

At what point do Labour strategists start to think that maybe this isn't quite the winning strategy they believed?

In 2023-24 HMRC issued 456 penalties to wealthy individuals for £5.8m, 25 prosecuted.

Tax scams designed by accountants, lawyers; five prosecutions in 2023-2024.

Govt taking powers to snoop on benefit claimants' bank accounts; mainly poor, old, sick. Nothing equivalent on tax abuse industry.
Nothing will change until the political system is freed from the clutches of corporations and the super-rich

Thames Water wants to pollute UK rivers with illegal sewage dumping until 2040, pay no fines, law already permits some sewage dumping.

Will still want profits, pay megabucks to execs, dividends and fleece customers.

Public ownership is the only way out.
Thames Water wants permission to pollute Britain's rivers until 2040. No, seriously
Thames Water – Britain's largest water utility – has asked the industry regulator to exempt it from some pollution requirements.

Reform is a (bad) mood and not a political party in the traditional sense.

Its followers don't care about facts. They care about their beliefs.

No amount of fact checking will work and their critics need to adjust to that.
