Tom Dundon has one goal with the Carolina Hurricanes. Win the Stanley cup. If there is a player that will sign what the FO deems a "deal" and will help win games it will happen. I don't think Dundon cares about who the human behind the on ice abilities is. For better or, in this case, much worse.

I feel like it's pretty clear under Dunson. "Will a player help us win?" That's the only thing they care about. They know if they are winning people will spend money regardless if fans know a player's background or not.
