The "National" Post, as a foreign (U.S.-owned) news outlet owned by the same company which owns the vast majority of print English daily newspapers in the country, is a direct threat to Canadian sovereignty and Canadian democracy.

Nationalize or bust.

The American capture of Canadian news & media (spearheaded by Steven Harper who now conveniently chairs the IDU, a global hub that strategizes to get far right governments elected worldwide) is a major factor in the disinformation that threatens our democracy👇

For the sake of our democracy, American hedge funds should be banned from owning Canadian newspapers
Canada's largest newspaper chain, Postmedia, is owned by an American hedge fund headed up by a wealthy donor to Donald Trump.

A voluntary code of conduct for the grocery industry is a joke. With a national monopoly, a history of price fixing and gouging, family grocery bills already too high, and slated to rise by $1000 next year, concrete action is needed, not a wish list. www.ctvnews.ca/business/art...
The grocery code of conduct will take effect Jan. 1. Here’s what this means for Canadian shoppers
Canada’s long-debated grocery code of conduct, designed to make the food supply chain fairer and more transparent, is finally taking shape after years of development and industry negotiations.

Cruel because it's used by the super-rich to avoid paying their fair share of taxes.
