Checking an old video (10 years) I uploaded on Team 47 Goman/Watchy and one of the team members of the game dropped in just recently with some interesting details about some unfortunate acquisition timing, bless!

text reply on a youtube video about the game Team47 Goman/Watchy from an account identifying themselves as Joe Lyford which reads "Ah, nostalgia. We were a very small company chasing 3d combat tech at a time (1994-95) when there were only a couple of 3d apis and both were buggy af. Renderware and Rendermorphics. We chose the latter and they got bought by MS snd became Direct X in the middle of the GoMan project for Sony so we had to completely redesign the graphics engine bc MS wouldn’t let us release on a Sony platform using their acquisition. That killed the studio. Nice to see this gameplay for the first time in 25+ years, and nice to see theres still critics mad about the game."

even if you can't find a publisher, self-publish! It's reasonably straightforward to do on Amazon. Even putting out one book shows that you have the skills and work ethic to complete a project, which matters a whole lot! And if you ping me I'll help promote it.

The art is nice but can definitely agree with the workman comments, though I think could have been taken in an interesting direction with the two characters real time swapping but would have needed 8 - 12 months to even find what that means.

Back in 2014, developer Andy Swann sent Games That Weren't a cool prototype platformer for the #SEGA Mega Drive called Frog Dude, where you could swap between a mace wielding prince and a frog with a large tongue. Not thought to be strong enough a title, and so was sadly canned.
