As an editor, the more important skill at this point is being able to *spot AI*.
I've poked around with LLMs just enough to get a feel for what AI "writing" looks like so I can spot it.
Thankfully, we have a team of reporters who would never use AI to write a story.
But the future worries me.

I find the idea that you need to know “how to use” AI tools really funny, as if it isn’t incredibly easy to type in prompts and the marketing these tools is that literally anyone can do it
