Let's not forget that there are laws that make it so you can't earn above poverty wages and still keep your benefits. If you're going to make more on benefits when it comes down to your costs then you can't legally work regardless of how much you want to.

Just got our roof replaced. We went metal because of a 60 year warranty. They gave us a voucher for a vacation. We don't do cruises or resorts or anything like that when we travel, so it's moot. Can I get a cash value out of it? We will find out.
