Good news on the border front, but let’s keep the receipts straight: Last year’s “Big Ugly (Beautiful) Bill” handed DHS/ICE $75 billion, CBP/Border Patrol $65 billion, and $45 billion for detention expansion. That cash came partly from slashing funding for Affordable Care Act supplementals.
