I am actually embarrassed for the artists who won’t leave. Have some self-respect
Users are noticing Twitter/X has added a Grok-powered AI image editor that lets anyone edit any image on the platform, including other people’s artwork using text prompts.

Artists warn there’s no opt-out or consent, raising concerns over unauthorized edits and misuse.

Got my nephew a set of the four Turts for Christmas, in fact. He's gone mad for the green machine in the last few months apparently. Glad I was able to get him them before it all goes pffft.

A real shame tbh, the Mutant Mayhem toys were a great example of a company still trying to produce quality, kid-focused figures offering high value at a low price, much needed in these high-price collector-targeted times. Whatever replaces it will be worse.

Holy cow, this is big news

Playmates has been making TMNT toys since 1988. After 37 years, they’ve lost the licence

TMNT will no doubt survive without Playmates. It wouldn't surprise me if toy companies are already jumping at the bit to try and grab the license. No matter what the incarnation Turtle Toys have sold like gangbusters.

The question is can Playmates survive without the Turtles?

If you know about the history of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this is a huge deal. TMNT put Playmates on the map (and vice versa), as they were the only licensee willing to take a risk on such a bizarre concept.

The two brands have practically been married for nearly half a century.

i understand that these corporations are beloved by many, but as soon as you start defending their use of AI, even if it's "a little bit", i need you to understand that you are being used as a corporate tool to normalize AI. reject it with all your might. corporations arent your friend.

"we USE ai, but our game wont CONTAIN it" is a clarification that no one has ever cared about & now CEOs are using it as a wedge to get their foot in the door as a part of a long term plan into normalizing AI, just like how 'it's just placeholder' was used with E33. dont cede even an inch of ground

This is a firm demonstration for how harmful streaming can be for films and shows. They can disappear without a moments notice and they have nowhere else to be legally seen. This is why streaming needs to put more stuff out on physical media cause art shouldn't be lost to time.
‘She-Ra and the Princesses of Power’ is scheduled to leave Netflix on February 21, 2026.

It's the first time I've ever tried running something like this, but times are tough and I need to realize I can't do this all alone.

I couldn't screenshot my Paypal debt because it's blocked and I just had to type it out. Any sharing around definitely helps!

She's literally nice
The entire fandom’s (and Retro Studios) initial assumption: “Oh she hunts down the baddest monsters in the galaxy and gets paid for it, right?”

Nintendo: “What? No. She’s like humanity’s motherly guardian. What are you talking about.”

Nintendo launched a Switch 2 game compatibility website!

It allows you to search any game to check the backwards compatibility status.

Mario Galaxy for example shows "Supported – Game behavior is consistent with Nintendo Switch."
