This speech is extraordinary. What a gift it is that Sarah is such an incredible writer, but also that they are a wonderful orator.

Preorders might seem small, but for authors like me, they mean everything.

They will help Free Piano (Not Haunted) reach more readers, booksellers, and libraries.

Thank you so much for supporting this haunted little book and the very human person behind it 👻🎹

My husband has already watched the first season of The Last of Us without me, but is rewatching since I said I wanted to see it. He will say "oh, this one's a rough one" before an episode, which can mean either "oops, lots of death and zombies" or "uh-oh, EMOTIONAL GUT PUNCH COMING."

I'll be honest - I don't want to do my own research. I want to have trusted doctors and scientists who can produce peer reviewed data and best practices and tell me how best to keep my kids safe.

One of the purest joys in my life is taking photos for groups outside of the theater. Yes, I WILL gleefully take your phone and snap 12 straight photos of you with the marquee or poster. People excited about theater makes my heart grow three sizes, ALWAYS.

Movie you’ve watched more than six times using gifs.

I thought this was a bit before I confirmed that the Paladinos have made a SECOND ballet show
We’ll be talking about in on PCHH soon, but for now just know:

I cannot believe how ridiculous AI is with the lying (if you try this, don't go overboard, it's still AI and uses a lot of resources)

I love Glen's Easter stuff
JESUS: (MOROSELY) This bread is my body.

PETER: Ooh feeling a bit crusty tonight are we?

PHILIP: Not TOO sour, dough.

JAMES: Rye-ly funny, Lord.

THOMAS: Make we wanna challah.

JESUS: Guys, quit it.

BARTHOLOMEW: Matzoh fast, guys! Let Him speak.

SIMON: Ignore them, Lord. Focaccia back.

✨Meet Margot!✨

The main character from my latest graphic novel, Free Piano (Not Haunted)!

Margot is sweet, determined, and maybe just a little too eager for the spotlight. Fame isn’t everything (but try telling her that).

Pre-order it from your favorite indie bookstore today!

Yeah, here's the problem. The ones who list the tariff out as a line item or the more ethical smaller companies might roll back, but I put no trust in corporations in general, it's going to hurt no matter how this shakes out.
So the thing about “the tariffs will probably get walked back eventually” is that companies don’t generally reduce their prices after raising them. That’s why we’re still paying fucking 2020 prices for everything while corporations rake in record profits and shit.

My husband just told me a joke he found on the Internet and it was so stupid and silly that I laughed for 90 straight seconds, and he kept giggling to himself about it and setting me off again

It seems NaNoWriMo is shutting down. In case it's helpful to hear: It is entirely reasonable to grieve the loss of the thing the institution represented to you, even if the institution itself has been rotting for a long time.
In which I share some reflections on the recent actions of NaNoWriMo, including a brief exchange I had with their executive director.
