Someone just tried to “own” me by saying “is that how public health works? No children die? Or should we make kids healthier so they survive measles naturally?”

Actually that’s exactly how public health works. We have a safe vaccine that all but eradicated measles, ensuring NO children died.

Me: What documents will I need to vote if this passes?
Staffer: a DL and birth certificate.
Me: The documents don’t match
Staffer: Then a marriage certificate.
Me: Will my husband need the marriage certificate too?
Staffer: No
Me: See the problem?
