With my husband, the measure of how much it is getting to him is how low he has sunk in his seat. We were once in the cinema and he was so low he could barely see over the seat in front 😆 I was having the time off my life

The latest waiting times for an appointment at a UK gender clinic. Cardiff the best at 2 years, Glasgow the worst at 224 years.

Yes, you did read that correctly. Two hundred and twenty-four years.

They're acting like the problem with denying so many vulnerable people a covid vaccine this year is that the information informing us that we're no longer eligible isn't clear enough on the booking website!

The fucking problem is we're being denied vital healthcare!

Pharmacies facing angry patients over Covid jab confusion
Up to half of patients coming to some pharmacies are being turned away because they are not eligible.

The thing is, I'm still eligible for a flu jab, which implies that they think covid is less dangerous, less likely to disable or kill me, than flu.

And no matter what they say about covid being less dangerous than it was, it's NOT milder or less dangerous than fucking flu.

"Israel once again violated international humanitarian law by preventing aid from getting into Gaza while people are being starved.”

"Deported" is a very interesting way to say kidnapped, imprisoned illegally, abused, then released. 🤔

Also, if 'Indiana Jones but the main character is Rachel Weiss's character from The Mummy' sounds like your kinda thing, you need to read Captain Moxley and the Embers of the Empire by Dan Hanks!!
katiebruce.bsky.social
You definitely should! It's a novella so really it should just skip the TBR, it's the right thing to do 😛
See! You get it! There will never be a time where I think 'you know what, I'm not in the mood for The Mummy, I'll take a risk on this definitely inferior film'
