The Grangemouth refinery was important to Scotland but not to the UK and therefore was expendable while the chemical plant is vital to the rest of UK. That’s why it was saved, writes Kenny MacAskill ✍️

The majority of unionists in the Scottish Parliament are List MSPs. Voting SNP 1&2 gifts unionists seats as d’Hondt will handicap the SNP regional vote so much that they will gain zero List seats. Vote SNP 1 Scottish Greens 2 and kick the unionists out.

Scotland’s economy is growing while the UK’s is declining.

Latest data shows onshore GDP grew by 0.2% between August and October, and business investment is at a 20-year high.

There is more to do and we will keep working towards a stronger economy, with higher living standards.
