This is bullshit linguistic imperialism at work. This could be the textbook example, but the textbook itself would get censored by the publisher, in a fascist ouroboros.
I noticed a change in the last few weeks in how the NYT describes gender affirming care. They now use the term "gender related care" in their coverage. This term had only been used sparingly (4 times) prior to this year. Now it's becoming ubiquitous in standard coverage.
