UPDATE: neighbours complain about kids with bikes on sidewalks.
Kids who got new bikes for Christmas, "super excited" to walk them around the city that's too dangerous to ride in.

I was a very heavy smoker and really enjoyed smoking indoors (a pint, pack of cigarettes and a book at a bar was my heaven…)- I was really upset about the ban at first but then just got used to it.

*I also don’t smoke anymore.
I lived thru the end of public smoking. Early in my career I presented to city councils who were smoking, in front of audiences who were smoking.

Smoking in restaurants, airplanes, hospitals…

All of that seems insane now, but it was very controversial when we DID change it.

We CAN change things.
It’s crazy that people used to be able to just smoke cigarettes wherever they wanted

The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

AOC: Oh, hell no. It was a joke. This was not a serious intelligence briefing. This was the communication of an opinion.

At a time when many movie “heroes” of our youth are profoundly disappointing us, by failing to meet the moment, or much MUCH worse, it’s a great relief to see Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill be just who you want them to be.

Although Trump’s abhorrent political beliefs are ultimately more damaging to the nation, his reprehensible personality is more shocking to me on a personal level.

I can’t fathom how anyone can support someone who is so obviously a terrible human being.

1/ The Prairies gave Canada Medicare. Today, the Alberta government passed a bill to take it away and replace it with American-style, two-tier healthcare, all while Carney looks the other way.

That's not who we are. That's the system our party fought to leave behind.
Unfortunately, after repeatedly using time allocation motions to limit debate, Bill 11 just passed third reading in the legislature.
